Used 2023 Genesis G70 2.0T

Two different powertrains are offered, a 2.0T and 3.3T. The G70 2.0T is a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that puts out 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The G70 3.3T gets a 3.3L turbocharged V6, making an impressive 365 horsepower and 376 lb-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 8-speed transmission is Genesis' Shiftronic transmission with rev-matching to shift gears at the opportune time. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available on all trims, which works with dynamic torque vectoring to improve handling on all road conditions.

The G70 stands out and makes a statement with its aggressive wide stance, sharp lines, sleek profile and signature Genesis crosshatch grille. The front end is highlighted by open intakes and sweeping headlights, while the short tapering back end adds to the sporty look. Inside the luxury comes to life with quality materials, diamond quilted leather and a clean line dash. Fine details such as leather trim, contrasting stitching and thoughtful configuration, enhance the drivers experience inside the G70.

The entry level G70 2.0T comes nicely equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, chrome exterior trim, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power front seats, remote keyless entry, dual-zone temperature control, HomeLink compatible garage door transmitter, leatherette seats, 4 USB ports, active noise cancellation, 6-speaker audio system and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2.0T is available in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.

The 3.0T adds a sport suspension, 19-inch wheels, leather seats, driver seat memory that includes the door mirrors and steering wheel, and rain sensing windshield wipers.

Safety features are plentiful on the G70, including both passive and active safety technology on all trim levels. Standard safety features include blind spot detection, forward collision mitigation, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning and, on higher trim levels, a rearview camera.

For 2023, the Genesis G70 returns with only a minor reshuffling of features.

The G70 boasts an aggressive sporty look, with a luxurious interior that stands out among competition in the compact luxury sedan market. Performance and technology are among some of the standout features of the G70. With competition such as the Audi A4, BMW 3-series and Mercedes C-class, the G70 offers more but for a lower price point. Buyers can get more for the money they spend. As a new car to the market, the Genesis G70 finds it place, and shines among competition.
